“Facilitate the acceptance of solar installations in the built environment”
Program Location Inscription Pictures Presentations Report

In Switzerland, the topic of the integration of solar systems in the built environment is very actual. Their installation is regulated by the procedures in force by the law on constructions which principally considers the respect of article 18a enclosed in the revision of the federal law on town and country planning. This law stipulates that in the (not brotected) areas to be built, carefully integrated (roofs and façades) solar installations are authorized if they do not spoil cultural asset or natural sites of any cantonal or national importance.
The goal of this workshop is to find solutions to facilitate the acceptance of solar installations and their diffusion in the built environment. One of the options could be the creation, at the national level, of recommendations similar to those of Basel city or Bern.
The BiSol group organizes workshops that allow the identification of problems and encourage their resolution via the creation of new projects and collaborations.
